Gerard Van Damme is a Senior Advisor at Nordic Match based in Brussels, focusing on providing strategic advice and supporting cross-border business expansion for Benelux and other European clients.
Before joining Nordic Match, Gerard had a career spanning over three decades across Europe, Africa, and Asia in a broad range of industries including petrochemicals, textiles, manufacturing, and construction materials. He spent more than 15 years in China in senior executive management positions. In his most recent role, he was Country Director for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, responsible for strategic transformation, market expansion, and business development, including M&A.
He holds an M.Sc. in Engineering from the Catholic University of Louvain, an eMBA from the University of Antwerp, and a Board Director diploma from FT London.
