Nordic Match was delighted to participate in the Finncham AGM 2026 last week, where our Partner, Tony Wang, delivered a keynote on “Opportunities in a New World Order.”

 

The presentation explored how shifting geopolitics, evolving trade dynamics, and China’s growing role are reshaping the global business landscape and what this means for European companies navigating cross-border opportunities.

 

Key themes discussed:

• The shift from export-driven models to “local-for-local” strategies, where companies must increasingly establish a presence within the Chinese market to stay competitive

• China Speed: China’s rapid pace of innovation, industrial development, and digital adoption that is setting new benchmarks for speed and scale globally

• The evolving geopolitical landscape, where “de-risking” rather than decoupling is shaping how European companies engage with China

• M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures as critical tools for accessing growth, capabilities, and local ecosystems

 

We were especially encouraged by the strong engagement from the audience. The feedback highlighted the perspective as both unique and highly relevant in today’s rapidly changing environment.
